JOB DESCRIPTION (JD) – SQA ENGINEER

Position: SQA Engineer (Supplier Quality Assurance)

Department: Quality

Experience: 2–3 Years

Salary: ₹30,000–₹35,000 per month

1. Job Summary

LNM Auto Industries is looking for a skilled and independent SQA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the Quality Department. The candidate should have knowledge of contour measurement and inspection, supplier quality management, new part development, and the part approval process. The candidate must be capable of independently handling supplier-end quality activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

Conduct supplier quality audits and process inspections at supplier locations.

Handle supplier-end quality issues independently and coordinate with suppliers for corrective and preventive actions.

Perform inspection of new parts and verify compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Handle the new part development and approval process, including PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and related documentation.

Review and approve new part samples and inspection reports as per company and customer requirements.

Conduct dimensional inspection using contour measuring equipment and other precision measuring instruments.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and dimensional tolerances.





Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure timely resolution of quality complaints.

Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure proper documentation.

Coordinate with internal Quality, Production, and Purchase departments to resolve supplier-related issues.

Ensure suppliers follow approved quality standards and manufacturing processes.

3. Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.

2–3 years of experience in a Quality Department, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of contour measuring equipment and dimensional inspection techniques.

Working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, and 8D problem-solving is preferred.

Ability to independently manage supplier visits, inspections, and quality issues.

Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and measuring instruments.

Robust communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

4. Salary

₹30,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.

5. Preferred Candidate

A quality professional who can independently manage supplier quality activities, inspect and evaluate new parts, coordinate the part approval process, and ensure consistent product quality at the supplier end.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
