1. About the Role

Rathi Build Mart is looking for a motivated and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to expand our customer base, develop strong relationships with dealers and contractors, and generate sales opportunities in the building materials industry.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with field visits, customer meetings, sales negotiations, and achieving monthly sales targets.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Visit dealers, retailers, builders, contractors, architects, and construction sites to generate business.
- Identify recent customers and develop potential sales opportunities.
- Promote Rathi Build Mart's products and services to prospective customers.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business.
- Follow up on quotations, pending orders, payments, and customer requirements.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand competitor activities, pricing, and customer demand.
- Coordinate with the internal sales team for product availability, quotations, and order processing.
- Maintain daily field visit reports and update customer details in the CRM or sales reporting system.
- Collect market feedback and share business opportunities with management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline; candidates with relevant sales experience will be preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, preferably in building materials, construction, hardware, cement, steel, or related industries.
- Good communication, negotiation, and convincing skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, WhatsApp, and sales reporting.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and disciplined.

- Achievement of monthly sales targets.
- Number of new customers and dealers acquired.
- Number of productive customer visits.
- Conversion of inquiries and quotations into orders.
- Repeat business and customer retention.
- Timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Accuracy of daily sales and field visit reports.
