Job Title: Food Court Billing

Reports To: Restaurant / Food Court

We are looking for an effective and customer-oriented Food Court Billing Assistant to manage our point-of-sale (POS) operations and ensure smooth payment processing. In this role, you will be the face of our service counter—handling customer orders, processing multiple payment modes accurately, and maintaining clean financial records. The ideal candidate is quick on their feet, possesses basic mathematical skills, and thrives under pressure in a fast-paced dining workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Order & Bill Management: Efficiently operate POS systems to punch in customer food and beverage orders. Generate accurate bills, receipts, and order tokens.
- Payment Processing: Securely handle cash, credit/debit cards, UPI apps (Paytm, PhonePe, Google Pay), and mobile wallets.
- Cash Reconciliation: Balance the cash register at the start and end of every shift. Match daily sales reports with physical cash and digital payment summaries.
- Customer Service: Greet guests politely, answer questions about menu prices or combo deals,



and resolve any billing discrepancies calmly and professionally.
- Counter Upkeep: Maintain absolute cleanliness and organization at the billing station, including printers, card machines, and scanners.
- Reporting: Document daily sales data, shift hand-over logs, and report any cash shortages or technical glitches immediately to the manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 0 months to 2 years of experience as a cashier, biller, or retail associate (experience in F&B; or food courts is highly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS software (e.g., Petpooja, Posist, or standard billing systems) and basic computer operation.
- Soft Skills: Strong numerical ability, active listening, and excellent verbal communication skills.
