Job description:

We are hiring TRANSPORT MANAGER in Adithya Institute of Technology

1) Oversee day-to-day transport operations, including vehicle scheduling and route planning.

2) Manage and maintain the vehicle fleet to ensure safety and reliability.

3) Lead, coach, and supervise the transport team and drivers.

4) Ensure compliance with all transport laws, health & safety standards, and company policies.

5) Monitor transport budgets and control costs (fuel, maintenance, staffing).

6) Use technology and data to optimize routes, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency.

7) Handle licensing, permits, and documentation.

8) Investigate incidents or accidents and implement corrective actions.

9) Collaborate with other departments and external partners to keep logistics seamless.

10) Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.

11) Experience in transport or logistics management.





12) Strong leadership and communication skills.

13) Solid understanding of transport regulations and safety requirements.

14) Skilled at using transport management systems and basic office software.

15) Problem solver with a focus on operational efficiency.

16) Experience in School & College Sector is Mandatory.
