Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to manage preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting at our metal processing manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimise machine downtime.
- Maintain gearboxes, bearings, pumps, conveyors, motors and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Supervise mechanical fitters and maintenance technicians.
- Plan preventive maintenance schedules and maintain breakdown reports.
- Coordinate with production and stores teams for maintenance activities and spare parts.
- Follow plant safety procedures, PPE and LOTO requirements.
Required Skills
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–7 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
- Hands-on experience in breakdown and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical components and troubleshooting.
- Experience supervising maintenance manpower is preferred.
- Manufacturing, foundry, metal processing or heavy engineering experience preferred.
