About Basil

Basil is a growing food and beverage brand expanding across India. We’re building energetic teams and strong store operations, and we’re looking for a hands-on Field HR Recruiter to support our Bangalore locations.

Role overview

You’ll manage end-to-end hiring for frontline and field roles across Basil stores in Bangalore. This role suits someone who enjoys meeting candidates, building local talent pipelines, and helping teams fill vacancies quickly while keeping the candidate experience positive.

What you’ll do

- Manage full-cycle recruitment for store and field positions, including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and offer coordination.
- Build candidate pipelines through referrals, job portals, social media, walk-ins, local networks, and hiring events.
- Partner with store and operations managers to understand staffing needs, priorities, and role requirements.
- Coordinate interview schedules and follow up with candidates and hiring managers to keep the process moving.
- Support joining formalities and onboarding coordination for new hires.
- Maintain accurate candidate,



interview, offer, and hiring records.
- Track hiring progress and share regular updates on open roles, pipeline health, and joining status.
- Represent Basil professionally to candidates and local hiring partners.

What we’re looking for

- Experience in recruitment, preferably for frontline, retail, food service, hospitality, or other high-volume roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable with field hiring, local travel across Bangalore, and occasional walk-in or hiring-drive coordination.
- Organized follow-up and record-keeping skills; familiarity with spreadsheets or recruitment systems is helpful.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
- Kannada and English communication skills are helpful; other local languages are a plus.
