Job Summary:
St. John’s Universal School, Goregaon is looking for a passionate and caring Part-Time Pre-Primary Teacher to create a secure, engaging and nurturing learning environment for young children. The teacher will focus on developing children’s foundational academic, social and communication skills through interactive and age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct engaging, activity-based lessons for pre-primary students.
- Develop early literacy, numeracy, communication and motor skills.
- Use stories, rhymes, games, art and creative activities to make learning enjoyable.
- Maintain a positive, safe and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Observe and track students’ learning and developmental progress.
- Support classroom routines and maintain effective classroom management.
- Encourage participation in school activities and celebrations.
- Communicate appropriately with parents regarding students’ progress.
- Prepare basic worksheets, activities and teaching resources as required.
Requirements:
- ECCEd / NTT / Montessori / D.Ed. or relevant qualification preferred.
- Prior experience in a pre-primary setting will be an advantage.
