SPM (Special Purpose Machine) design experience is mandatory.
What you'll do
- Design SPM components, assemblies, and products
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation
- Convert customer requirements into manufacturable designs
- Apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and engineering standards
- Ensure DFM/DFA, quality, cost, and reliability
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams
- Solve design and manufacturing issues through root-cause analysis
- Support prototyping, testing, and validation
- Guide junior designers and take ownership of deliverables
SPM (Special Purpose Machine) design experience is mandatory.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and GD&T;
- Experience in sheet metal, machining, fabrication, or welded assemblies (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and own complex designs
