1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, billing, payment follow-ups, departmental budgets, monthly profit and loss reporting, and cash flow management. The candidate should have strong financial reporting skills and experience in the textile industry.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

Daily Challan & Billing: Prepare and verify daily delivery challans, sales invoices and purchase bills.

Payment Follow-Up: Maintain outstanding payment reports and coordinate daily with the Director for customer payment collection.

Monthly Budget Management: Prepare and monitor departmental budgets in coordination with Department Heads / Managers.

Profit & Loss Management: Prepare monthly P&L; statements, analyze expenses and report profitability to management.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash inflow, outflow, bank balances and upcoming payment requirements.

Accounts Management: Maintain sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries and ledger records.

Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and verify financial transactions.

Vendor Payments: Track supplier outstanding amounts and prepare payment schedules with Director approval.

GST & TDS Compliance: Coordinate GST, TDS and other applicable statutory accounting requirements.

MIS Reporting: Submit daily, weekly and monthly financial reports to management.

Cost Control: Monitor production expenses, department-wise costs and opportunities for savings.

Audit Support: Maintain financial documents and assist with internal and external audits.

4. Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience: 2–5 years in accounting, preferably in the textile, embroidery, manufacturing or garment industry.
- Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Location: Local candidates from Surat preferred.
- Software Skills: Tally Prime, MS Excel, accounting software and GST billing.
- Technical Knowledge: GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, P&L;, budgeting and cash flow.
- Other Skills: Strong numerical accuracy, confidentiality, communication and coordination with management.
