3. Post-Procedure & Recovery

- Manage the access site (radial or femoral artery), executing safe manual compression or utilizing mechanical closure devices to achieve hemostasis.
- Closely monitor patients for post-operative complications such as hematomas, bleeding, arrhythmias, or vasovagal reactions.
- Formulate discharge plans and deliver comprehensive instructions covering medication adherence, wound care, and activity restrictions.

- Technical Proficiency: Experience handling advanced lab hardware (e.g., IVUS, Mac-Lab systems, fluoroscopy equipment, intra-aortic balloon pumps).
- Stress Management: Proven capacity to maintain emotional control and execute precise clinical skills during high-pressure, rapid-intervention code events.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended durations wearing heavy lead protection aprons (up to 15–20 lbs).

Working Conditions & Shift Demands

- Workplace: Clinical procedure room with exposure to low-dose radiation (lead PPE provided) and magnetic fields.
- Schedule: Standard daytime hours with a mandatory "On-Call" rotation requirement (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to support emergent cases like acute myocardial infarctions (STEMIs). Must live within a 30-minute response radius when on call.
