Job Description – Security Incharge (Factory)

Position: Security Incharge
Department: Administration / Security
Location: Factory Unit
Reporting To: Factory Head / Admin Manager
Age: 45 – 50 Years
Experience: 10 – 20 Years in Industrial / Manufacturing Security

Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations

- Ensure round-the-clock security of the factory premises.
- Monitor entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
- Prevent unauthorized access, theft, pilferage, and security breaches.
- Conduct regular security inspections and patrols across the plant.

Team Management

- Lead, supervise, and coordinate the security team across all shifts.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
- Train security guards on security protocols, emergency response, and discipline.
- Monitor team performance and maintain high standards of vigilance.

Asset Protection

- Safeguard company assets, machinery, raw materials, finished goods, and infrastructure.
- Verify gate passes, material movement records, and vehicle documentation.
- Investigate incidents of theft, damage, or policy violations.

Safety & Compliance

- Support fire safety measures and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Coordinate with EHS, Administration, and HR departments during emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with factory security policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain incident reports, visitor records, and security logs.

Surveillance & Monitoring





- Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance of surveillance systems, access controls, and security devices.
- Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.

Coordination & Reporting

- Liaise with local police, fire department, and government authorities when required.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly security reports to management.
- Conduct security audits and provide improvement recommendations.

Required Qualifications

- Any Graduate preferred.
- Ex-Army / Ex-Police personnel will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of industrial security systems, CCTV surveillance, and access control.

Experience Requirement

- Proven experience handling a security team of 20+ personnel in a factory environment.

Location Preference: Candidates from Textile / Manufacturing Industry backgrounds are preferred

Pay: ₹30,100.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
