Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced, result-oriented Regional Sales Head to lead CAMBAY's expansion across Mumbai and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in building distribution networks, developing general trade channels, managing sales teams, and driving primary and secondary sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Distribution & Channel Development

- Identify, appoint, and manage super stockists and distributors across Mumbai and MMR.
- Develop a strong general trade network covering Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan-Dombivli, Mira-Bhayandar, and surrounding markets.
- Establish productive relationships with toy, stationery, gift, bookstore, and educational product retailers.
- Ensure distributor profitability, adequate inventory, and regular stock rotation.

2. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

- Own monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Drive primary billing, secondary sales, and retail replenishment.
- Recruit, train, and supervise field sales executives as required.
- Develop territory-wise sales plans and market coverage strategies.
- Identify high-potential accounts and institutional business opportunities.

Retail Expansion & Execution

- Build CAMBAY's presence across general trade and relevant modern trade opportunities.
- Execute product launches, retailer onboarding, and in-store demonstrations.
- Ensure product visibility, merchandising, and promotional execution.
- Monitor retail activation, repeat orders, and distributor performance.

4. Financial Discipline & Reporting

- Ensure timely distributor collections and adherence to approved credit policies.
- Monitor outstanding payments, returns, and inventory movement.
- Submit weekly sales MIS, market development reports, and forecasts.
- Track distributor-wise and salesperson-wise performance.

Candidate Requirements

- 8–12 years of experience in general trade, channel sales, and distributor development.
- Minimum 3 years of sales leadership or territory ownership experience preferred.
- Strong existing distributor and retailer network in Mumbai and MMR.
- Experience in toys, stationery, gifts, educational products, FMCG, or consumer goods preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to launch products and scale new brands.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and commercial management skills.
- Fluency in Hindi; Marathi and English preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
