Job Responsibilities

- Operate Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines for machining components as per engineering drawings.
- Perform machine setting and job setting, including fixture mounting, workpiece clamping, and job alignment.
- Set work offsets such as G54, G55, and other work coordinate systems as required.
- Set tool length and tool radius offsets using tool-setting procedures.
- Load CNC programs and make basic program edits under supervision, if required.
- Understand CNC codes such as G00, G01, G02, G03, M03, M05, M06, and M30.
- Select and load cutting tools, including drills, end mills, face mills, and tapping tools.
- Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges,



and height gauges.
- Perform first-piece inspection and maintain component quality during production.
- Monitor machining operations, tool wear, coolant levels, and machine conditions.
- Follow production targets, safety procedures, and 5S practices.
- Identify machining problems and report tool breakage, dimensional variation, or machine alarms to the supervisor.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
