Role Overview
Ginger Jamshedpur is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, replenish guest supplies, and ensure rooms are guest-ready.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost & found articles to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of housekeeping equipment and cleaning materials.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist in deep-cleaning activities and special housekeeping projects.
- Provide courteous and prompt service to guests and address their requests professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping pantry and service areas.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hotel housekeeping.
- Preference for candidates with experience in hotels, resorts, or hospitality establishments.
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and cleaning procedures.
- Good grooming standards and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties.
