About the Role
We are looking for a detail oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations at Autus Digital Agency. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a digital marketing or service-based agency environment and be comfortable handling end to end accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Handle invoicing, billing, and payment follow-ups with clients
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entries in accounting software
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate with auditors and support during audits
- Monitor cash flow and ensure financial stability of the organization
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,
or related field
- 3- 5 years of accounting experience (preferably in a digital marketing/agency setup)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (GST, TDS, etc.)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)
- Good understanding of invoicing cycles in service-based businesses
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling finances for digital marketing or advertising agencies
- Familiarity with project based billing and client retainers
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools and Excel (advanced level preferred)
