Responsible for supervising housekeeping staff and ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of cinema halls, auditoriums, lobbies, washrooms, food courts, and other common areas to provide a clean, safe, and pleasant experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Staff Supervision
- Supervise housekeeping maids and cleaning staff during daily shifts.
- Allocate cleaning duties and monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and grooming.
- Ensure adequate staff coverage during peak hours and movie intervals.
- Train staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene, and safety practices.
- Cinema Hall Cleaning
- Ensure auditoriums are cleaned promptly after every movie show.
- Check seats, cup holders, floors, aisles, and staircases for cleanliness.
- Ensure timely removal of food waste, popcorn, beverage spills, and other litter.
- Maintain readiness of auditoriums before the next show begins.
- Washroom Maintenance
- Ensure regular cleaning and sanitization of washrooms
- Check the availability of handwash, toilet paper, and other consumables.
- Maintain washroom inspection checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Common Area Maintenance
- Monitor cleanliness of entrances, ticket counters, waiting areas, corridors, lifts, and food courts.
- Ensure dustbins are emptied regularly and waste is disposed of properly.
- Maintain cleanliness in staff rooms and back-of-house areas.
- Quality Control and Reporting
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain cleaning records.




- Report maintenance issues, damages, spills, and safety hazards to management.
- Monitor cleaning materials and chemical stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with theatre hygiene and safety standards.
- Customer Service and Safety
- Respond promptly to customer complaints related to cleanliness.
- Ensure wet-floor warning signs are displayed whenever required.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and handled safely.
- Maintain professional behaviour and discipline among housekeeping staff.

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous housekeeping experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in a cinema theatre, multiplex, hotel, mall, or commercial facility is an advantage.
- Positive communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage staff and work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- Cleanliness standards of auditoriums and common areas.
- Timely cleaning between movie shows.
- Washroom hygiene and inspection compliance.
- Staff attendance and productivity.
- Customer complaints and audit performance.

Note: The role may require rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on theatre operations.
