Industry: Precast Concrete Manufacturing
Experience: Minimum 5 Years
Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed BOQs for civil and precast concrete projects.
- Study drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Calculate material quantities, labour costs, transportation costs, and other project expenses.
- Prepare quotations, rate analysis, and cost comparison statements.
- Coordinate with the sales, production, and purchase departments for project costing.
- Review project drawings and identify quantity variations.
- Prepare tender estimates and commercial proposals.
- Follow up on revised drawings, quantities, and client requirements.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil estimation.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation,
quantity surveying, and rate analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and estimation software.
- Good understanding of construction materials, concrete, and precast products.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
