- Operate CNC cutting machines such as CNC Plasma, Laser Cutting, or Oxy-Fuel Cutting machines, as applicable.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, cutting layouts, and job specifications.
- Set up machines and select appropriate cutting parameters according to material thickness and type.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment before cutting.
- Monitor the cutting process and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform basic quality checks on cut components using measuring instruments.
- Identify cutting defects, material wastage, and machine-related issues.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow production schedules, quality standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain cutting records, production reports, and material utilization details.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure timely completion of jobs.
