Job Description

Amrita Vidyalayam, Nagapattinam, is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and qualified candidates for the following positions:

- ATAL Lab Teacher
- STEM LabTeacher
- Robotics Teacher
- AR & VR Lab Teacher
- TGT Mathematics Teacher
- TGT English Teacher

We are looking for passionate educators who can promote academic excellence, practical learning, creativity, innovation, and critical-thinking skills among students.

Roles and Responsibilities

For ATAL Lab, STEM, Robotics, AR & VR Lab Teachers:

- Conduct practical and activity-based learning sessions in ATAL Lab, STEM, Robotics, AR, and VR.
- Guide students in designing, developing, and executing innovative projects.
- Introduce students to robotics, coding, automation, electronics, and basic programming concepts, as applicable.
- Plan and conduct STEM experiments, hands-on activities, and project-based learning sessions.
- Demonstrate AR and VR technologies to enhance students' understanding of academic concepts.
- Encourage students to participate in science exhibitions, robotics competitions, innovation challenges, and other technology-related events.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, materials, and safety standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, activity schedules, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and school management to promote innovation and technology-based education.





For TGT Mathematics Teachers:

- Teach Mathematics to middle and secondary school students.
- Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons.
- Develop students' logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Use appropriate teaching aids, activities, and technology to make mathematical concepts easier to understand.
- Assess students' academic progress and provide guidance for improvement.

For TGT English Teachers:

- Teach English to middle and secondary school students.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
- Prepare lesson plans and conduct engaging, student-centred classroom activities.
- Strengthen students' grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and written communication.
- Assess students' progress and provide appropriate academic support.

Educational Qualifications

For ATAL Lab, STEM, Robotics, AR & VR Lab Teachers:

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Science, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with relevant technical qualifications, practical experience, or certifications in robotics, STEM education,



coding, AR, or VR are preferred.
- Experience conducting laboratory activities or technology-based projects for school students will be an added advantage.

For TGT Mathematics Teachers:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline, along with B.Ed.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts effectively.

For TGT English Teachers:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or a relevant discipline, along with B.Ed.
- Excellent English communication skills, including written and spoken English.

Teaching experience and familiarity with activity-based, student-centred teaching methods will be an added advantage for both TGT positions.
