Head Purchase (Technical Textile)

Location: Jaipur

Experience: 15-25 years

Age Limit: Between 45-50 years

Reporting To: Managing Director

Role Summary

Looking for an experienced Head Purchase with strong expertise in strategic procurement, vendor management, cost optimization, and procurement team leadership within the Technical Textile / Manufacturing industry. The role will be responsible for managing the complete purchase function across Jaipur and Chaksu, establishing robust procurement systems, presenting Purchase MIS to the MD, and delivering measurable procurement benefits that positively impact the P&L.; The candidate must have proven experience in managing and developing a team of procurement professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the overall Purchase & Procurement strategy across both manufacturing units. 2. Report directly to the Managing Director on procurement performance, cost savings, supplier performance, and key purchase matters. 3. Prepare and present Purchase MIS, procurement dashboards, cost analysis, savings reports, and key performance metrics to the MD. 4. Drive procurement initiatives that deliver measurable cost savings and benefits to . 5. Establish and implement systematic procurement processes, SOPs, approval mechanisms, and controls. 6. Lead sourcing and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, engineering items, spares, and other production requirements. 7. Identify, evaluate, develop, and manage reliable vendors and suppliers. 8. Lead negotiations on pricing, payment terms, quality, delivery schedules, contracts, and commercial terms. 9. Develop alternate sources and strategic suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness and supply continuity. 10. Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality,



delivery, and service parameters. 11. Drive cost reduction, value engineering, supplier development, and procurement optimization initiatives. 12. Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, Finance, and Management for effective procurement planning. 13. Monitor purchase budgets, inventory levels, material lead times, and procurement KPIs. 14. Lead, manage, mentor, and develop the Procurement / Purchase team and establish clear performance objectives. 15. Conduct regular performance reviews of the procurement team and ensure accountability for procurement targets. 16. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, commercial controls, and applicable standards. 17. Identify procurement risks and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. 18. Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, cost reduction, supplier development, and technology/digital procurement systems.

Key Requirements

1. Strong hands-on experience in Purchase, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Vendor Management. 2. Strong background in Manufacturing / Automobile / Engineering industries. 3. Proven experience in managing procurement for multiple manufacturing locations. 4. Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable cost savings and P&L; benefits through procurement initiatives. 5.



Proven experience in preparing and presenting Purchase MIS and procurement performance reports to MD / Senior Management. 6. Solid knowledge of raw material sourcing, supplier development, price negotiation, cost control, and inventory management. 7. Experience in developing and implementing purchase systems, SOPs, processes, and controls. 8. Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a proven ability to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives. 9. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of procurement professionals. 10. Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and leadership skills. 11. Ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Qualification

1. B.Tech/ Mechanical / Plastic / Industrial Engineering or equivalent qualification. 2. MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain / Procurement / Operations will be an added advantage. 3. Certification in Supply Chain Management / Strategic Procurement will be an added advantage. Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
