Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Logistics Transformation Lead with strong functional expertise in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Transportation Management (TM), and logistics transformation. The consultant will support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a leading global FMCG organization in India.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on SAP WM/EWM and TM implementation experience, strong supply chain and logistics domain knowledge, and the ability to lead warehouse and transportation workstreams across multiple sites and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead As-Is and To-Be process mapping for Warehouse Management and Transportation Management across India-based sites and distribution centers.
- Design and support migration from Centralized Warehouse Management (CWM) to Embedded SAP S/4HANA EWM.
- Lead the transition from SAP TMS to SAP S/4HANA Advanced Transportation Management.
- Configure SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure, goods movements, inventory management, RF transactions, and Fiori applications.
- Design and implement freight collaboration solutions using SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN).
- Drive logistics master-data quality assessments, validation, cleansing, and migration activities.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, carriers,



and logistics service providers during system transitions.
- Lead functional workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Support integration between SAP EWM, SAP TM, MM, SD, and other relevant SAP modules.
- Ensure effective stakeholder coordination and alignment with supply chain and logistics business teams.

Mandatory Skills and Experience

- 10+ years of overall professional experience.
- 8–12+ years of SAP functional experience, with strong expertise in SAP WM, EWM, and Transportation Management.
- 7–9 years of logistics operations experience within an FMCG organization.
- At least two full end-to-end SAP implementations involving warehouse and/or transportation management workstreams.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM and/or decentralized EWM.
- Experience with CWM-to-Embedded-EWM migration is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on SAP EWM configuration covering warehouse structure, goods movement, Handling Unit Management, RF transactions, and physical inventory.
- Proven SAP TM experience covering freight planning, transportation execution, carrier collaboration, and freight settlement.
- Solid understanding of supply chain operations, warehouse processes, distribution networks, and logistics integration.




- MBA in Supply Chain Management or Operations from a Tier-1 institution, such as NITIE/IIT Bombay, SP Jain, or equivalent, as specified by the client.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN) and freight collaboration.
- Knowledge of SAP Yard Management and dock scheduling.
- Experience with barcode scanning, RF devices, and Fiori-based warehouse transactions.
- Understanding of Indian logistics regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery frameworks.
- Experience coordinating with 3PL providers, transporters, and external logistics systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior SAP logistics functional consultant or transformation lead who combines hands-on EWM/TM configuration expertise with FMCG logistics operations experience. The candidate should be capable of driving complex SAP transformation workstreams, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and supporting implementation and migration activities from design through go-live.
