Multi Brains is looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our team in Chennai.

If you have a strong eye for storytelling, understand social-media content, and can turn raw footage and creative ideas into engaging videos, we’d love to hear from you.

Role: Video Editor Key Responsibilities

- Edit engaging videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, social media, advertisements and other digital platforms. Transform raw footage, scripts and creative briefs into polished and engaging video content. Create strong hooks, smooth transitions, captions, sound design, visual effects and motion graphics where required. Maintain good pacing, storytelling, visual quality and brand consistency across all videos. Adapt videos according to different social-media formats, trends and audience requirements. Work closely with the creative and marketing team to understand briefs and deliver content within deadlines.
- Ensure the final product aligns with the brand’s style and message. Handle revisions and feedback efficiently while maintaining quality. Stay updated with current video-editing trends, AI tools and current content formats.

Requirements

- Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.



2-4 years of professional video-editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Adobe After Effects. Strong understanding of video editing, storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound design and visual effects. Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, advertisements and social-media content. Hands-on experience with AI video editing / AI video-generation tools is preferred. Basic graphic-design skills such as typography, layouts and visual composition will be an added advantage. Good understanding of colour correction, audio editing and motion graphics. Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset. Good communication skills and the ability to understand and execute creative briefs. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Portfolio / Showreel is mandatory.
