Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Purchase to lead procurement operations, manage the supply chain, and negotiate competitive pricing with vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier management and negotiation skills, along with experience sourcing materials such as plastics, metals, and PU foam.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement operations.
- Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimise costs and improve efficiency.
- Manage the supply chain to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
- Oversee procurement of raw materials, particularly plastics, metals, and PU foam.
- Monitor market trends, material prices, and supplier performance.
- Ensure materials meet the required quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with production, inventory, finance, and other departments to meet business requirements.




- Manage purchase budgets, control procurement costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adequate material availability while minimising excess inventory and supply chain disruptions.
- Lead and guide the purchasing team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements

- 8–10+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in vendor negotiations, supplier management, and cost optimisation.
- Preference for candidates with experience in plastics, metals, and PU foam procurement.
- Solid understanding of sourcing strategies, purchasing processes, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple suppliers, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
