Job Summary

Celes’tile Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented 2D Designer with robust AutoCAD drafting skills and practical knowledge of tile layouts, marble flooring, wall elevations, and natural stone design.

The role involves preparing accurate technical drawings and material layouts for premium residential and commercial interior projects, ensuring dimensional accuracy, design consistency, material optimization, and execution feasibility.

Candidates should be interested in a long-term association with the Company, with a preferred commitment of at least two years, and be willing to work from our office in Shamshabad.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for floor layouts, wall elevations, tile inlays, stone cladding, and decorative stone patterns.
- Trace and reproduce existing architectural drawings, floor plans, wall elevations, sketches, PDFs, images, and design references in AutoCAD, ensuring accurate dimensions, scaling, proportions, and alignment with the original references.
- Identify and interpret design elements, measurements, patterns, and material details from existing drawings and convert them into precise, editable AutoCAD drawings.
- Develop tile and natural stone layouts, including dimensions, joint details,



pattern alignment, and material orientation.
- Interpret architectural drawings, site measurements, and client requirements to develop technically feasible design solutions.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Design, and Production teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications and material requirements.
- Revise and update drawings based on internal reviews, client feedback, and site requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing files, technical documentation, and reusable design templates.
- Prepare design presentations, layout mock-ups, and supporting drawings for clients, architects, and consultants.
- Verify drawing dimensions, scaling, and technical detailing before submission for approval or execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D drafting and drawing tracing is essential.
- Educational qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in 2D drafting or layout design.
- Ability to trace drawings from PDFs, scanned plans, images, sketches, and existing architectural drawings into accurate AutoCAD files.
- Practical understanding of tiles, marble, natural stone, stone cladding, tile joints,



and modular surface planning.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and convert design concepts into accurate technical layouts.
- Strong attention to detail, dimensional accuracy, pattern alignment, and drawing scale.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Willingness to work from the Shamshabad office and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with premium materials, including Italian marble, sandstone, designer tiles, and natural stone.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, or other relevant design and presentation tools.
- Understanding of material wastage, cutting patterns, layout optimization, and practical installation requirements.
- Experience supporting luxury residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical AutoCAD technical assessment, which may include tracing an existing drawing, interpreting dimensions, and preparing a 2D tile or wall stone layout.
