We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Tech Lead to own engineering end to end for a fast-growing product. You will drive technical architecture, product development, engineering excellence and team growth, and you will keep writing code yourself.
Key Responsibilities
- Own engineering end to end, including architecture, development, deployment and product quality.
- Stay hands-on with coding and code reviews, spending about 60% of your time on technical execution.
- Build and improve engineering workflows to speed up development.
- Drive AI-assisted software development using Claude Code and other AI coding tools.
- Work closely with the founders on product strategy, technical decisions and development priorities.
- Find ways to improve engineering productivity and shorten development cycles.
- Mentor, lead and grow a high-performing engineering team.
- Ensure software is delivered scalable, reliable and high quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Has taken at least one product from concept to launch.
- Has scaled a product to a large user base.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Node.js.
- Familiarity with React Native and Expo.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database fundamentals.
- Previous experience leading and mentoring an engineering team.
- Practical experience with AI-powered coding tools and agentic development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, product thinking and a high sense of ownership.

Work Location: In person, Chennai. Candidates must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
