Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical AutoCAD Draftsman responsible for preparing accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, layouts, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation as per project and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D mechanical drawings and detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop mechanical layouts, assembly drawings, component drawings, and detailed part drawings.
- Prepare drawings as per engineering specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and design requirements.
- Modify and revise drawings based on engineering changes and feedback.
- Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain drawing-related documentation wherever required.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and applicable engineering practices.
- Check dimensions, material specifications, tolerances, and other technical details before releasing drawings.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approved designs.
- Support the production/fabrication team by providing technical drawings and clarifications.
- Visit the production/fabrication site when required for measurements and drawing verification.
- Convert sketches, concepts, and site measurements into accurate technical drawings.




- Ensure timely completion of assigned drawings and design-related tasks.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Basic/working knowledge of 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, sections, projections, and fabrication drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Note: Candidates should have practical experience in preparing mechanical drawings and be comfortable working closely with production and engineering teams.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
