CHRYSALIS HEALTH is looking for compassionate and responsible Baby Care Nurses to provide newborn and infant care at clients’ homes in Bengaluru.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for newborns and infants.
- Assist with bathing, diaper changing, dressing and personal hygiene.
- Support breastfeeding, bottle feeding and burping as instructed.
- Monitor feeding, sleeping patterns and urine and stool output.
- Observe the baby's general condition and report any concerns promptly.
- Maintain hygiene and follow infection-control practices.
- Clean and maintain baby care equipment and feeding accessories.
- Follow safe sleeping practices and ensure the baby's safety.
- Maintain daily records of feeding and other relevant observations.
- Communicate professionally with parents and follow agreed care instructions.
Essential Qualifications
- GNM, B.Sc. Nursing or an equivalent recognised nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing registration,
where applicable.
- Basic knowledge of newborn care, hygiene and safe handling.
- Good communication skills, patience and a caring attitude.
- Willingness to work at clients’ homes in Bengaluru.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in newborn, infant or postnatal care.
- Experience in a maternity ward, NICU or paediatric department.
- Training in neonatal care or infant first aid.
- Immediate availability to join.
Additional Information
- Full-time, permanent position.
- 12-hour or 24-hour shifts, as assigned.
- Freshers may be considered based on qualifications and training.
- Duties are limited to assigned baby care and nursing responsibilities; unrelated household chores are excluded.
