Hiring Service Engineer!!
The UPS Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS systems and related battery solutions at customer sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge, customer-handling skills, and willingness to travel to client locations.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Maintenance

· Install, commission, and maintain UPS systems at customer sites.

· Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown service activities.

· Troubleshoot and rectify UPS faults and technical issues.

· Inspect UPS batteries, wiring, connections, and related electrical components.

· Attend customer service calls and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Technical Support & Site Activities

· Handle UPS systems, including online UPS and related power backup solutions.

· Conduct battery testing, replacement, and performance checks.

· Identify faults in UPS systems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

· Maintain service reports, maintenance checklists, and customer records.

· Follow electrical safety procedures during installation and service activities.

Customer & Team Coordination

· Coordinate with service coordinators for daily schedules and customer visits.

· Communicate technical issues and service updates to customers.

· Support installation,



commissioning, and equipment handover activities.

· Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and quality service.

Required Skills

· Good knowledge of UPS systems, power electronics, and electrical circuits.

· Experience in UPS troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and battery handling.

· Ability to identify and resolve technical faults at customer sites.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and service report preparation.

· Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Experience

· 2–5 years of experience in UPS servicing and maintenance.

· Experience with online UPS, SMF batteries, and power backup systems.

· Experience with Vertiv, Emerson, APC, Eaton, or similar UPS brands will be an added advantage.

· Willingness to travel to customer sites across Chennai and nearby locations.
