Project Overview
The Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) is a Government of India initiative aimed at improving sanitation, solid waste management, and cleanliness across urban and rural areas. The Field Mobilizer will support implementation activities at the ground level in Dhekiajuli.
Job Summary
The Field Mobilizer will be responsible for community mobilization, IEC (Information, Education & Communication) activities, awareness campaigns, beneficiary identification, and support in implementation of SBM activities including sanitation and solid waste management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door awareness campaigns regarding sanitation and cleanliness.
- Motivate households for toilet usage and solid waste segregation.
- Support in identification and verification of SBM beneficiaries.
- Assist in preparation of beneficiary lists and documentation.
- Coordinate with ULB officials, ward members, and community leaders.
- Support in organizing cleanliness drives and awareness camps.
- Monitor field-level SBM activities and submit daily progress reports.
- Ensure proper data collection using mobile apps or survey formats.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate (preferred).
- Local candidate from Tinsukia or nearby areas preferred.
- Valuable communication skills in Assamese & Hindi.
- Basic knowledge of smartphone usage and data entry.
- Willingness to travel within field areas daily.
