Experience in residential, commercial/industrial, Medical College construction and greenfield projects. Strong negotiation and vendor-management skills. Experience with inventory systems and material tracking preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Procure construction materials such as sand, cement, steel (TMT), stone chips, bitumen and other project materials.
2. Handle machinery and material purchases for construction projects, including project/capital procurement.
3. Complete the PR-to-PO procurement cycle.
4. Prepare and evaluate comparative statements.
5. Manage RFQs, tendering and technical/commercial evaluation.
6. Finalize purchase orders and applicable Incoterms.
7. Expedite orders and follow up on deliveries.

Develop and manage vendors; negotiate contracts and pricing.
9. Identify cost-reduction opportunities, alternate sourcing options and supply-risk reductions.
10. Maintain procurement documentation, MIS and order-status reports.
11. Conduct market research for cost-effective suppliers.
12. Maintain records of orders, stock received and vendor payments.
13. Coordinate with site, store and delivery teams to resolve issues and close orders.
