Overview of the Role :

Choira MusicTech is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Finance and Investment Intern to support accounting operations, financial reporting, market research, and investment activities. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting and finance, strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel, and excellent English communication skills. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial management, investment analysis, market research, and business strategy in a rapid-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities :

● Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, financial data entry, and maintenance of

financial records.

● Support invoicing, expense tracking, payment documentation, bank reconciliation, and

ledger maintenance.

● Assist in preparing financial reports, expense summaries, cash flow statements, and

other financial documents.

● Support GST documentation, basic compliance activities, and audit preparation.

● Conduct market, industry, competitor, and investment research to identify potential

business and investment opportunities.

● Analyse financial statements, business models, investment proposals, and market trends

to support decision-making.





● Assist in preparing financial models, investment reports, pitch decks, and business

presentations.

● Analyse financial data, identify potential risks, and provide insights to support investment

and business strategies.

● Support deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio-related activities as required.

● Monitor financial news, industry developments, and emerging market trends.

● Present research findings and financial insights clearly to internal stakeholders.

● Collaborate with the team on finance, accounting, and investment-related projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

● Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance), CA Inter, or an

equivalent qualification.

● Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and investment

concepts.

● Knowledge of financial analysis, valuation methods, and market research is preferred.

● Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, or Google Workspace.

● Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.

● Confidence in presenting research findings and explaining financial insights.

● Strong analytical, numerical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

● Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

● A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a startup environment.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
