Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Contracts & Procurement to manage contractual activities, procurement, vendor negotiations, and commercial documentation for building construction projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering, BOQs, contractor management, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end contract management and procurement activities for building construction projects.
- Prepare, review, negotiate, and finalize construction contracts, work orders, and subcontractor agreements.
- Handle procurement of construction materials, equipment, and services as per project requirements.
- Source and evaluate vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate rates, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Review tender documents, BOQs, quotations, and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, vendors, and finance teams.
- Monitor contract execution, project costs, variations, claims, and amendments.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to avoid project delays.
- Maintain contract records, purchase orders, work orders, and vendor documentation.




- Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure procurement within approved budgets.
- Handle contractor billing, rate analysis, and commercial negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies.
- Prepare MIS reports on procurement, contracts, vendor performance, and cost savings.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of building construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Experience in tendering, BOQ analysis, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Expertise in vendor development, subcontractor management, and negotiations.
- Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and commercial terms.
- Good understanding of contract variations, claims, and payment terms.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and construction-related documentation.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification. A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

Relevant experience in contracts and procurement within the building construction industry, preferably involving residential, commercial, or high-rise building projects.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹12,000,000.00 per year
