Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end site execution, installation, erection, and commissioning activities at client locations in accordance with approved project schedules, engineering specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress against planned milestones, prepare daily progress reports, and share weekly updates with management and clients, highlighting execution status, constraints, resource requirements, and action plans.
- Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and erection personnel, ensuring effective work allocation, workforce productivity, and optimum utilization of manpower.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and erection contractors to ensure timely execution,
planned productivity, and compliance with quality requirements.
- Implement site safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, company safety policies, and client-specific safety requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in site execution, erection, installation, and commissioning of conveyor systems and bulk material handling equipment.
Required Technical Skills
- Sound understanding of conveyor systems, bulk material handling equipment, and associated mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, equipment layouts, and installation specifications.
- Solid cost consciousness and the ability to optimize manpower, equipment, and other site resources.
- Knowledge of site execution planning, progress monitoring, and installation quality standards.
- Understanding of site safety audits, permit-to-work systems, contractor safety management, and applicable statutory requirements.
