Job Opening: Automotive Service Technician – EV & Hybrid Passenger Vehicles

Key Responsibilities

Scheduled Maintenance & Diagnosis:

Carry out scheduled maintenance, general repairs, and basic diagnostic work according to Repair Orders (RO) and dealership standard operating procedures.

Thoroughly inspect vehicles to identify root causes of technical concerns.

Standard Repair Procedures:

Adhere strictly to repair manuals, technical bulletins, and OEM brand guidelines.

Utilize correct specialized tools, workshop equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly and safely.

Shop floor Coordination:

Coordinate closely with the Workshop Controller, Service Advisor, and Parts team regarding repair instructions, required spare parts, and expected completion timelines.

Immediately notify the Workshop Controller if additional repair time or additional parts are required.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

Perform thorough pre-delivery quality checks and road tests before marking job cards as complete.

Promptly escalate repeat customer concerns and safety observations to the Workshop Controller.

Digital RO Updates & 5S Maintenance:

Log real-time repair notes, findings,



and work start/stop timings using workshop tablets or digital apps.

Maintain strict 5S practices across assigned work bays, vehicle interiors/exteriors, and tool storage areas.

EV Compliance & Safety:

Comply with dealership processes, OEM standards, quality checks, and high-voltage safety regulations.

Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) safety protocols.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience: 3 to 7 years of relevant experience as an Automotive Service Technician in an EV or Hybrid passenger vehicle workshop.

Core Skills: Proven hands-on track record in passenger vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, basic diagnostic techniques, and workshop tool operation.

Digital Literacy: Hands-on experience using tablets, PCs, or workshop management applications to update job orders and service history records.

Technical Aptitude: Solid ability to read and interpret repair manuals, technical service bulletins, job cards, and workshop safety guidelines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
