We are looking for a skilled and responsible Phlebotomist to join our diagnostic laboratory team. The candidate should have good blood collection skills, knowledge of sample handling, and the ability to communicate professionally with patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using proper venipuncture techniques.
- Handle blood collection for adults, children, and elderly patients.
- Follow the correct order of draw and maintain sample quality.
- Label, process, and transport samples properly.
- Maintain proper hygiene, safety, and infection control protocols.
- Handle patient queries and provide a comfortable experience during blood collection.
- Maintain daily records and collection registers.
- Ensure proper maintenance of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team for timely sample processing.
Required Qualifications:
- DMLT / BMLT or relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in blood collection preferred.
- Freshers with good practical knowledge may also apply.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Knowledge of sample collection and handling procedures.
