JOB SUMMARY

CUBE invites applications from Mechanical / Electrical Engineering graduates of proven distinction to join its QA/QC team as Support Engineer – MEP. The ideal candidate shall bring demonstrated field experience in inspection and testing of MEP installations, underpinned by sound technical judgment and professional rigour. The selected candidate shall be entrusted with supporting the QA & QC Manager – MEP in safeguarding strict adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks and applicable codes at site.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Qualification. B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

- Experience. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Competencies

- Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and fire-protection systems.

- Familiarity with BIS / NBC / NEC standards and testing methods.

- Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD.

- Valuable communication skills; willingness to work at site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Support Engineer shall support CUBE's MEP QA/QC team in day-to-day field quality surveillance, including:

- Inspecting MEP installations - HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting and fire-alarm - against approved drawings, specifications and ITPs.

- Checking equipment installation, alignment, supports, cable routing, termination, earthing, ducting and piping works.

- Witnessing pressure, leak, insulation-resistance, continuity,



earthing and functional tests, and recording results.

- Verifying material and equipment deliveries, approvals and test certificates before acceptance.

- Participating in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and preparing snag lists.

- Maintaining inspection checklists, test records and installation registers.

- Identifying non-conformances, assisting in preparing NCRs and following up on rectification.

- Verifying compliance with NBC, BIS, NEC and other applicable standards.

- Coordinating with contractors and the civil team to resolve interface issues.

- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly quality reports.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
