Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Head – Process Engineering to lead manufacturing process development, industrialization, New Product Introduction (NPI), automation, process validation, and continuous improvement activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing efficient, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes while ensuring quality, productivity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement process engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization, and production ramp-up activities.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, process flows, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Testability (DFT).
- Lead automation, robotics, SPM, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Manage process qualification and validation, including DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve OEE, FPY, productivity, process capability, cycle time, and equipment utilization.
- Identify and eliminate process defects, bottlenecks, scrap, rework, and production losses.
- Lead PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, RCA, 8D, and structured problem-solving activities.




- Manage engineering changes, technical documentation, and process control requirements.
- Lead engineering projects, capital investments, budgets, and supplier coordination.
- Develop and mentor the Process Engineering team and establish competency standards.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D;, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable QMS, manufacturing, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Manufacturing / Process Engineering.
- Expertise in NPI, industrialization, and production ramp-up.
- Experience in automation, robotics, SPM, and equipment engineering.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, SPC, DOE, and FMEA.
- Experience in process validation and engineering change management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent team leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Knowledge of digital manufacturing, IoT, and manufacturing analytics will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirements

- 12–18+ years of relevant manufacturing / process engineering experience.
- 5–8+ years of experience leading Process Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering teams.
- Proven experience in process development, industrialization, NPI, automation, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Candidate

A technically strong and result-oriented engineering leader with proven experience in manufacturing process optimization, engineering team management, productivity improvement, and operational excellence.
