Job Overview

Delhi Public School, Santosh Nagar, Hyderabad, is seeking a passionate, tech-savvy, and dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join our primary wing.

In this role, you will introduce young minds (Classes 1 to 5) to the foundational concepts of computer literacy, digital citizenship, and basic computational thinking. The ideal candidate knows how to make learning interactive, engaging, and age-appropriate while aligning with the CBSE curriculum guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver engaging computer science lessons tailored for primary school students (Classes 1 to 5) following the CBSE curriculum.
- Practical & Interactive Learning: Conduct hands-on lab sessions covering basic computer operations, typing skills, age-appropriate educational software, MS Office basics (Word, Paint, PowerPoint), and introductory block-based coding/logical reasoning.
- Student Assessment: Monitor student progress, evaluate practical and theoretical assignments, and provide constructive feedback to nurture a positive attitude toward technology.
- Digital Citizenship: Teach young learners safe internet practices, cyber hygiene, and responsible digital etiquette.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, disciplined, and encouraging computer lab environment conducive to collaborative learning.




- Parent Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, participation, and overall engagement during parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
- Extracurricular Support: Assist in school events, tech-fests, or digital initiatives organized by the institution.

Candidate Requirements

- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc. IT), OR
- Graduation with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) specializing in Computer Education.

Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of teaching experience as a Computer Teacher, preferably within a reputed CBSE-affiliated school. Freshers with exceptional communication skills and strong technical knowledge may also apply.

Skills:

- Proficiency in handling school computer labs and basic hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Strong command of English (written and spoken) with excellent classroom management skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching young children.
