Who can apply:

MSW Freshers /MSW with experience (0-2 years)

A passionate, empathetic and field-oriented social worker who loves to work directly with PWDs and their families

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Work & Home Visits:

- Understand family situation, daily living challenges, and support needs.

2. Counseling & Family Support:

- Provide individual counseling support to PWDs.

- Provide emotional support, guidance and regular follow-up to parents / caregivers.

- Organize small parent support meetings.

3. Community Networking & Linkages:

- Build strong network with Local NGOs, Disability Organizations (DPOs), Self-Help Groups.

- Build valuable working relationship with Panchayath & Municipal officials, Jagratha Samithi, ASHA, Anganwadi workers.





- Mobilize community support for inclusion of PWDs.

4. Program Support:

- Support in organizing awareness programs, training, and community events.

- Maintain proper case files, home visit reports, and monthly progress report.

- Coordinate with project manager for planning and execution.

Qualification & Skills:

- MSW (specialization or focus in Psychiatric and Medical Social Work prefered)

- Fluent in Malayalam & basic English

- Willing to do field work

- Good communication, empathy, patience and basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel)

- Kasaragod / Kannur district candidates have preference-

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
