Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans as prescribed by the treating physician.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures and explain the scanning process.
- Screen patients for metal implants, pacemakers, and other MRI contraindications.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and MRI safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Coordinate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of MRI equipment.
- Follow hospital protocols and infection control guidelines.
