We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to manage billing operations, handle customer payments, maintain cash records, and ensure smooth checkout operations in our garments showroom. The ideal candidate should have valuable numerical skills, accuracy, and a customer-friendly attitude.
Key Responsibilities
1. Handle daily billing operations using POS or retail billing software.
2. Accept cash, debit/credit cards, UPI, and other payment methods.
3. Maintain accurate cash records and ensure proper cash handling.
4. Reconcile daily cash collections and prepare end-of-day sales reports.
5. Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and discounts as per company policy.
6. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth customer checkout.
7. Maintain proper records of bills, transactions, and payment receipts.
8. Ensure accuracy in pricing, billing, and applicable discounts.
9. Follow company policies and standard operating procedures for cash management.

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the billing counter while providing excellent customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience as a Cashier in the garments, retail, or showroom sector.
- Knowledge of POS systems and billing software.
- Good numerical and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Honest, trustworthy, and responsible with cash handling.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and daily sales reporting is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
A candidate with prior experience in a garments showroom who can independently manage billing, cash reconciliation, and daily payment transactions.
