Head of Finance (Part-Time | 3 Days per Week)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the finance function.
- Own financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Manage regulatory reporting and compliance requirements in an FCA-regulated environment.
- Prepare board packs, financial presentations, and strategic insights for leadership.
- Oversee corporate governance, financial controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Support fundraising activities, investor reporting, and capital planning.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital requirements.
- Partner with the CEO and senior leadership team on strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Ensure finance systems, processes, and controls are scalable and fit for growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- 7-14 years' experience as Head of Finance, Finance Director, Fractional CFO, or similar senior finance role.




- Strong experience managing a complete finance function.
- Proven background within Financial Services, FinTech, Lending, Payments, Investment Platforms, Wealth Management, or FCA-regulated businesses.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, governance, and compliance.
- Experience with fundraising, investor reporting, board presentations, and financial strategy.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
- Experience in property investment, real estate finance, or Islamic finance would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure in FCA regulatory reporting (mandatory)
- Exposure to Shria law or Islamic finance (mandatory)
- Good Experience in Fundraising, EMI scheme option, budgeting, cash flow management.
