Job Title: CNC Bending Machine Operator / Press Brake Operator Company: Keymate Steel Location: Delhi NCR Employment Type: Full-time Experience: Minimum 3 years Salary: Based on experience and skills About the Role We are looking for a skilled CNC Bending Machine Operator to manufacture precision sheet metal components for steel almirahs, wardrobes, cabinets, and other furniture. The candidate should be able to independently set up the machine, understand technical drawings, and produce accurate bends with minimal rejection. Key Responsibilities - Set up and operate CNC press brake machines for sheet metal bending. - Read fabrication drawings and interpret dimensions, bend angles, and tolerances. - Select suitable punches and dies according to material thickness and component requirements. - Create, load, and adjust bending programs, backgauge positions, and bend sequences. - Check the first component and inspect parts during production using vernier calipers, measuring tapes, and angle gauges. - Correct bending deviations and maintain consistent component quality. - Handle thin MS sheets carefully to prevent scratches, dents, and deformation. - Coordinate with laser cutting, welding, and assembly teams to ensure proper fitment.
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic machine checks; report faults promptly. - Follow machine safety procedures and maintain a clean working area. Required Skills and Qualifications - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC press brake operation and machine setup. - Understanding of sheet metal bending, springback, bend allowances, and tooling selection. - Ability to identify suitable bend sequences and avoid tool or component collisions. - Ability to work independently and meet production targets. - ITI qualification in a relevant trade preferred; experienced candidates without formal qualifications may also apply. - Experience in steel furniture or thin sheet metal fabrication preferred. - Familiarity with Hubow machines or Primapress PM68 controllers is an advantage.
