Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Godown Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage labour, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely dispatch of materials. The candidate should have strong supervisory skills, valuable coordination abilities, and experience in handling warehouse activities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

- Supervise daily godown activities, including material inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure proper arrangement, identification, and systematic storage of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline within the warehouse.
- Ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space.

2. Labour & Manpower Management

- Allocate daily tasks to warehouse helpers and labourers.
- Monitor labour attendance, productivity, and work performance.
- Ensure efficient manpower utilization and timely completion of assigned work.
- Coordinate with labour contractors regarding manpower requirements.

3. Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor material inward and outward movement.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Ensure stock accuracy and report shortages, excess stock, or damaged materials.
- Maintain proper material identification, labelling, and storage.

4. Dispatch & Order Execution

- Supervise material picking, checking, packing, and loading as per work orders.
- Ensure correct material, grade, size, and quantity are dispatched.
- Coordinate with the Order Processing and Dispatch teams for timely order execution.
- Minimize dispatch errors, delays, and material damage.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily inward, outward, and dispatch records.
- Prepare daily reports on pending orders, completed dispatches,



and labour productivity.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager regarding operational issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of material movements.

6. Safety & Discipline

- Ensure warehouse staff follow safety procedures.
- Monitor proper handling, lifting, and stacking of materials.
- Maintain discipline and adherence to company policies.
- Report operational risks, damages, and unsafe practices immediately.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years in warehouse, godown, stores, or dispatch supervision.
- Experience in the fasteners, steel, hardware, or industrial materials industry will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Excel and inventory records.
- Experience supervising blue-collar workers and labour teams.

- Dispatch Accuracy: Ensure minimum errors in material picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain accurate physical stock and records.
- Order Completion: Ensure timely execution of daily dispatch targets.
- Labour Productivity: Optimize manpower utilization and productivity.
- Warehouse Discipline: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper material arrangement.
- Damage Control: Minimize material damage, shortages, and handling losses.

Working Conditions

Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Weekly Off: Sunday
Work Location: Masjid Bunder, Mumbai

A hands-on, disciplined, and proactive individual who can independently supervise warehouse activities, efficiently manage labour, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure smooth and timely dispatch operations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
