We are looking for a motivated Junior Biomedical Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and smooth functioning of medical equipment across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of medical equipment.
- Ensure medical equipment is safe, functional, and available for clinical use.
- Coordinate with service engineers and equipment vendors for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain equipment service records, maintenance logs, and calibration reports.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of current medical equipment.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdown complaints from clinical departments.
- Ensure compliance with hospital safety standards and biomedical equipment protocols.
- Maintain an inventory of medical equipment, spare parts, and accessories.
- Coordinate with nursing, ICU, OT, and other clinical departments regarding equipment-related issues.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- Candidates with hospital biomedical department experience will be preferred.
