Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to manage daily production activities involving CNC machines and Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL). The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, managing manpower, and ensuring smooth shop-floor operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities on CNC and VTL machines.
- Plan and allocate jobs according to production schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor machine operations, cycle times, productivity, and production targets.
- Ensure components are manufactured as per engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Coordinate with CNC operators, setters, quality, maintenance, and planning teams.
- Monitor tool usage, insert life, and machine performance to minimize downtime.
- Ensure proper machine setting, job loading, and process adherence.
- Maintain production reports, rejection records, downtime reports, and shift-wise output.
- Identify and resolve production-related issues to improve productivity.




- Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and shop-floor discipline.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and material wastage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in CNC and VTL production supervision.
- Good knowledge of CNC turning and VTL machining operations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Understanding of cutting tools, inserts, machining parameters, and tool life management.
- Experience in manpower handling, production planning, and quality control.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in a manufacturing or precision machining industry.
- Ability to achieve production targets while maintaining quality.
- Strong shop-floor management and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
