Role Description: I am exploring the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and spatial analysis in the assessment and documentation of private estates and luxury residential properties. The objective is to understand how geospatial tools can help create a structured spatial record of an estate, identify useful property-level insights, and support future maintenance, landscaping, and capital-improvement decisions. I am looking for a GIS professional who can undertake a small, well-documented demonstration project and explain both the technical process and the practical value of the findings.

What am I looking for?

Practical experience with QGIS or comparable GIS software.

Familiarity with spatial data, coordinate reference systems, raster and vector layers, and cartographic presentation.





Knowledge of remote sensing, terrain analysis, or environmental mapping is an advantage.

Ability to explain technical findings in transparent, practical language.

A disciplined approach to data quality, accuracy, and professional limitations.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate their own analytical approach rather than simply produce attractive maps.

The Opportunity

This position will follow an assignment-based selection process. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical GIS assignment designed to assess their technical competency, analytical thinking, and ability to communicate findings effectively.

Submissions will be assessed on technical accuracy, analytical depth, quality of mapping, relevance of insights, documentation, and professional judgment.

The strongest submission will determine the final selection, subject to the candidate meeting the assignment requirements and agreeing to the engagement terms.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
