Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AV Design Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in designing professional Audio-Visual (AV) solutions for corporate meeting rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, conference rooms, smart classrooms, and other commercial projects.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of AV system design, technical documentation, BOQ preparation, and coordination with sales, procurement, and project execution teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design AV solutions for meeting rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, conference rooms, and smart classrooms.
- Prepare AV system architecture, signal flow diagrams, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and detailed technical drawings.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs), technical proposals, compliance sheets, and cost estimation documents.
- Perform AV site surveys and analyze client requirements.
- Select suitable AV equipment, including displays, LED walls, projectors, cameras, microphones, DSPs, amplifiers, speakers, control systems, and AV-over-IP solutions.
- Develop AV system designs using AutoCAD and other relevant design tools.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, sales teams, and project execution teams for technical solutions.
- Evaluate product specifications and ensure compliance with tender requirements.
- Support pre-sales activities, technical presentations, and client meetings.
- Ensure the proposed solutions meet technical requirements and commercial expectations.

Required Technical Skills





- Good knowledge of qualified Audio-Visual systems and AV signal flow.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for AV layouts and technical drawings.
- Experience in preparing BOQs, SLDs, block diagrams, and technical proposals.
- Understanding of audio systems, including DSPs, amplifiers, speakers, microphones, and acoustic requirements.
- Knowledge of video systems, including LED displays, LCD displays, projectors, video conferencing, and video distribution.
- Familiarity with AV control systems such as Q-SYS, Crestron, or Extron.
- Basic understanding of AV-over-IP, Dante audio networking, and network infrastructure.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and tender specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in AV system design, pre-sales, or AV system integration.
- Experience working with professional AV brands such as Q-SYS, Shure, Sennheiser, Bose Professional, JBL, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Samsung, and relevant LED display manufacturers.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently on AV design assignments while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
