Purpose of the Role

To facilitate effective teaching-learning processes in Computer Science, enabling students to develop computational thinking, programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and readiness for CBSE Board Examinations and future technology careers.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities

- Teach Computer Science for Grades XI & XII as per CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment tools.
- Deliver engaging lessons using contemporary pedagogical approaches and educational technology.
- Train students in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and related technologies.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Examinations with focused revision and remedial support.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure effective utilization of computer laboratories.
- Integrate Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Safety, and emerging technologies wherever applicable.
- Maintain student portfolios, assessment records, and progress reports.

Student Development

- Foster analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and innovation among students.
- Mentor students for projects, coding competitions, exhibitions, and career guidance.
- Support students in academic and personal growth through regular counseling and feedback.
- Encourage participation in coding clubs, hackathons, and technology-based activities.

Assessment & Evaluation

- Conduct periodic tests, practical examinations, and formative assessments.
- Analyze student performance data and implement remedial measures.
- Prepare question papers,



answer keys, and evaluation reports as per CBSE norms.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus and revision schedules.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain computer lab inventory and equipment records.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, training programs, and school events.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
- Ensure adherence to school policies, CBSE guidelines, and child safeguarding norms.

QualificationEssential

- M.Sc. Computer Science / MCA / M.Tech (Computer Science / IT) or equivalent.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE School at the Senior Secondary level.

Preferred

- Experience in teaching Python, SQL, AI, Data Science, and Informatics Practices.
- CBSE evaluation or board examination experience.
- Certifications in AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, or related domains.

Skills Required

- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and Information Technology.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Data Structures, and Database Management.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching-learning processes.
