Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily plant operations, production planning, and execution to achieve targets.
- Oversee steel processing activities and ensure optimum utilization of machinery, manpower, and raw materials.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Coordinate with purchase, sales, quality, maintenance, stores, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure effective inventory management of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Monitor machine performance, coordinate preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime.
- Improve productivity, reduce material wastage, and control operational costs.
- Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Lead, train, and supervise plant personnel to maintain discipline and productivity.
- Prepare and review daily production reports, MIS, material consumption reports, and performance data.
- Identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure timely order execution, dispatch, and smooth overall plant functioning.

Eligibility Criteria

- Mandatory experience in the steel industry,



preferably in a steel service centre or steel processing unit.
- 5–10 years of experience in plant operations, with prior supervisory or managerial experience.
- Robust knowledge of steel processing machinery, production planning, and quality control.
- Experience in handling manpower, inventory, dispatch, and maintenance coordination.
- Ability to manage production targets and operational performance.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in production reports, MIS, and material consumption analysis.
- Hands-on experience in independently managing end-to-end plant operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
